Please read our return policy carefully to understand our guidelines, timeframes, and requirements for returns and refunds.

1. Return Window

You have 14 calendar days from the date you received your item to log a return request. To be eligible for a return, your item must be sent back to us within this 14-day window.

2. Eligibility Criteria for Returns

To ensure your return is accepted, the item must meet the following conditions:

  • Condition: The item must be unused, unworn, and in the exact same condition that you received it.

  • Packaging: It must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging, including any protective padding, boxes, or pouches.

  • Documentation: All accompanying documents, including certificates of authenticity (GIA/GRS/etc.), warranty cards, and tags, must be included. Missing certificates will result in a rejected return or a heavy certificate replacement fee.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt, invoice, or digital order confirmation from www.ysgems.com.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following types of items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Customized, engraved, or bespoke jewelry pieces.

  • Items made-to-order or altered to a specific size at the customer's request.

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or clearance items.

4. Return Shipping Costs

⚠️ Crucial Policy Notice:

The customer is entirely responsible for paying for their own shipping costs to return the item.

  • Original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

  • Recommended Action: Gemstones and jewelry are high-value items. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS, or SF Express) and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and Yau Shing Gems is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

5. How to Initiate a Return

 

1.Contact Support:Step 1.

Email our customer service team at support@ysgems.com with your order number, details of the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

2.Receive RMA Approval:Step 2.

Once approved, our team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide you with our secure return shipping address. Do not mail packages without an RMA number.

3.Securely Package and Ship:Step 3.

Pack the item securely with all original certificates and tags. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the package using an insured, trackable method and pay the carrier directly.

 

6. Inspection and Refunds

Once we receive your package, our team of gemologists will inspect the item to verify its condition and ensure that the gemstone matches our original records.

  • Approval: If your return is approved after inspection, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer).

  • Timeline: You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies (typically 5 to 10 business days).

  • Rejection: If the item is found to be damaged, altered, missing certificates, or showing signs of wear, the return will be rejected, and the item will be shipped back to you at your expense.
